Our Services

Food Aid:

Any family or individual living alone may request an order through our email, Message Box or by telephone on our Website (see Contact Us). The orders and/or food coupons are then picked up or delivered on a monthly basis. This service is provided 12 months a year to individuals and families that live in Saint-Lambert or Ville Lemoyne. Non-perishable food items are collected on a regular basis via the participating churches and purchased from a monetary-donations budget. Throughout the year a group of 20 volunteers shop, pack, and deliver food items.

During 2022, a total of 211 food item orders were requested and provided to 10 families and 39 single persons in Saint Lambert and Ville Lemoyne.

ECS is proud to be an active member of the GGMRS

Christmas Basket Vouchers Campaign:

Annually, since 1981, from the 1st to the 30th of November, ECS runs its traditional Christmas Basket Vouchers Campaign. It will be announced on this website, and through the Saint-Lambert Journal. Residents of Saint-Lambert and Ville Lemoyne in need of food for Christmas, should register their request before November 30. The vouchers are delivered a week before Christmas with the help of ECS volunteers.

In 2022, a total of 185 Christmas Basket Vouchers were requested and delivered.

2023 Christmas Basket Voucher Requests:

If you are a resident of Saint-Lambert or Ville Lemoyne and in need of a Christmas Basket Voucher you can request one by phone at (438) 308-6168 between November 1st and 30th, Monday – Friday between 9:00 and 17:00.

Supporting other Registered Organizations:

When volunteer capacity and finances allow us to support other registered charities, ECS is committed to determine which area is most in need. An organization will be selected by using the following criteria: poverty relief, mental health support, assistance to the elderly, vulnerable, homeless, marginalized, victims of domestic or spousal violence, disabled, and new arrivals to Canada. During 2022 and 2023 the focus will be on supporting organizations in the area of Mental Health support.
